Hi!  Thanks for checking out my webpage!!    Hmmmmm,  Let's see.  I am originally from upstate (northern) NY. After college I moved around the north east quite a bit before ending up in Florida. I've been in Ocala long enough now that I bump into people I know in the grocery store (something I always think makes a town feel like home).

I am married for almost 25 years and have 2 children, both grown and away from home now (and the cliché about them growing up too fast is very true!).  I teach elementary school full-time, have a one year old Tibby Spaniel named "The Fonz", and work on photography in every other minute I have.  I love chocolate chip cookies, 70-80's music, anything that looks old and worn, and I collect the same things as most 6 year olds (sticks, rocks, shells, etc.).   I recently had my dream come true of creating my own studio.  I was lucky to have the space to do it right at my house so I don't even have to leave home, and that's good because I spend a lot of time in there!

I love all the different categories of photography and with each new project change my mind of which area is my new favorite!   I've been fortunate enough to have some great mentors along the way and some awesome opportunities. I have had to many amazing opportunities through photography, from shooting an international pageant in the Bahamas, shot covers of magazines including Family Times, Gladys, Intermodelo and many more.  I am very happy to have worked these jobs as they have allowed me to travel, work on interesting projects and meet a lot of people.  I always end up feeling connected to the people I photograph.  Its hard not to after I get to share a moment in your lives, and then stare, reallllly closely :) , at your faces for hours when editing!

Well if you have read this far, I guess I did ok with writing this little bio. :)   I hope you  will take a few minutes to browse my portfolio and enjoy the moments I have captured here.  I look forward to meeting you and helping you preserve your memories, smiles and milestones of life!
