I may be a little bias but the one piece of advice I told my daughter as she left for college was to take pictures, every step of the way, document it. She tells me she treats her instagram like a scrapbook (how lucky today’s kids are to be able to have this way to look back on their life), and I know just like how I look back at the Polaroids of my cousins and me in our canoe at the camp we visited every year that one day she will sit on a couch in her living room, looking back at these photos remembering the good times and telling the stories to her kids like I do now. Moral of my story whiles bias, take photos and I hope you’ll choose me to capture these once in a lifetime moments that will be a part of the stories told to generations to come.
